Beltangady, Oct 29: The department of commerce and IQAC Cell of the Sacred Heart College, Madanthyar in association with United Training Services India under Bombay Stock Exchange organized a webinar on October 29 titled 'Investors Awareness Program'.
The webinar was conducted to create awareness about investment objectives, common investment mistakes, different investment avenues available, the achievement of financial goals and prudent tax planning.
Neeraj Sharma, a financial planner from Maharashtra was the speaker for the session. During the session he gave a detailed insight into overall financial planning, investment in the share market, different avenues available for investment in mutual funds, power of compounding, need for life and health insurance and also the impact of COVID-19 on mutual fund investments.
The webinar was hosted on Zoom attended by around 150 participants.
