Mangalore, Apr 15: The cruise vessel ‘Aida Cara’ carrying 800 German nationals docked at the New Mangalore Port on Wednesday April 14.
The tourists, after alighting, traveled within the city and visited several places including Kudroli Gokarnanatha Temple, St Aloysius Chapel, Kadri Manjunatha Temple, and a cashew factory in Baikampady industrial area.
Twenty tourist buses were arranged by local tour operators to ferry the visitors.
The ship arrived from Kochi in Kerala and will proceed to Goa.
The vessel has a total of 373 crew members on board and it is the second cruise vessel to dock in the city this year.
