Media Release

Tumkur, Aug 13: Amidst global uncertainty, leading corporates considered Siddaganga Institute of Technology (SIT) for premium jobs in 2020.

The year is a trendsetter for the students of SIT with raining offers from IT products, services and core companies. We are in the midst of placement season and already received more than 700 plus offers with 100 plus companies visiting us. Students of SIT bagged premium offers of Rs 29 lac per annum and more than 50 received Rs 10 lac plus annual package.

The greatest trend is close to 200 students who bagged a full-time internship from leading corporates. All the eligible students from Information Science and Engineering streams have been placed (100%) with multiple offers. The institute takes immense pride in recalling its founder Dr Sivakumara Swamiji's vision of creating young minds having technical competency and spiritual values to become valued corporate clients.

Their effort in fulfilling the vision resulted in creating responsible, industry-relevant and result oriented engineers. The corporate talent requirement is dynamic and SIT strives to create relevant skills by adopting the 3 Cs (i) Curriculum up-gradation, (ii) Capacity building of faculties and (iii) Collaboration with corporates in solving real-life problems. This has resulted in positive hiring trend where corporate giants such as CISCO, Target VMWare, Shell I Informatica, Samsung R&D, Toyota Kirloskar, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, PwC, Impact Analytics, Oracle, Redbus, Atkins, Bharat forge, Godrej Agrovet, Sony, Siemens, Alstom, Autoliv, L&T Construction, MCF, Epsilon Carbon visited the campus till date. More companies are expected to visit during the year.
