Udupi, Jul 29: Police personnel of criminal investigation department's cybercrime department, Bengaluru, have arrested a person from Udupi, who has been accused of selling porn videos online. He has been identified as Sourav Shetty (21). The police have recovered collection of porn videos collected by the accused, digital equipment, social media and online cloud accounts.

The accused was said to be operating a huge network and has collected detailed information of several people from other states. The police plan to initiate legal steps against these persons through the nodal officers of the respective states.

It is said that Shetty had illegally put together a huge stock of video clips running into thousands, containing banned sexual activity involving minor girls. He used to sell them through Instagram account, it is said. He also has shared the scenes through online for money and collected lacs of rupees, the CID sleuths informed.
