Kundapur: Businessman violates quarantine norms 163 times, complaint filed

Kundapur, Jul 14: A case stands registered against a man, who allegedly violated quarantine rules 163 times and travelled outside the home 163 times during his quarantine period.

The man in question happens to be Sahab Singh, who came to Koteshwar from Mumbai. He reportedly is involved in the glass and plywood business here. He reached his rented residence on Koteshwar bypass road on June 29. He was asked to undergo home quarantine till July 13.

But the officials who checked their GPS tracker that was installed, found that Singh had violated rules and went out of his area of confinement 163 times. This included his visits to hotels at Udupi, it is said.

Flying squad officer N G Bhat, has complained against Singh in Kundapur station, where a case stands registered against him.
