Udupi: Fourth coronavirus death in district as Davangere native passes away

Udupi, Jul 12: Udupi district on Sunday, July 12 reported another death related to coronavirus.

The deceased, aged 72, is a native of Davangere.

He was facing health issues and had come to Udupi on Thursday for treatment. He was admitted to Manipal hospital here.

A swab test was conducted after he was admitted, and the result confirmed that he had contracted the infection.

The funeral will be conducted at a cemetery near Diana circle here as per protocol.

With this, the number of deaths related to coronavirus in Udupi district has risen to four.

As per the health bulletin released on Saturday, July 11 evening, as many as 1,567 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district, including 90 new cases on Saturday.

    Take away the fear, anxiety, and feelings of isolation from people receiving treatment or under quarantine. Give them a sense of purpose in pursuing health and protecting others from exposure to the disease. Protect their families and friends and bring peace to all who love them.
