Mangaluru, Jun 8: District in-charge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary while addressing the media on Monday, June 8 informed that the Wenlock hospital would start its OPD services within two days.

"After Wenlock hospital was converted to COVID-19 hospital, the OPD service at the hospital was temporarily suspended which led to inconvenience for other people. It left them with zero option of getting treatment at a government hospital. Therefore, we have decided to resume OPD services at Wenlock hospital within two days," Poojary said.

Talking about the proposed candidates for Rajya Sabha, he expressed his delight and gratitude. He stated that he was elated over the nomination of two important personalities from the party, Eranna Kadadi from Belagavi and Ashok Gasti from Raichur.

"We are delighted that BJP high command announced two of its grassroots cadres - Eranna Kadadi from Belagavi and Ashok Gasti from Raichur for Rajya Sabha polls. I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi, national BJP president Nadda, chief minister Yediyurappa and state BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel for considering Eranna Kadadi and Ashok Gasti for Rajya Sabha polls," Poojary added.
