Bengaluru, May 5: Karnataka Muzrai minister Kota Srinivas Poojary approved the release of a sum of Rs 24 lac from general collection fund. The fund will be released through endowment commissioner and would be utilized for cattle shelters involved in rearing cattle in the state and those who are currently facing financial constraints.
Rs three lac will be given to Neelavara goshala and Rs two lac to Hoovinakere goshala in Udupi, Rs two lac to Vishweshatheertha goshala in Bantwal, Rs five lac to Govanitashraya trust in Bantwal, Rs one lac to Sautadka Goshale, Kokkada in Beltangady, Rs two lac to Kshetra Dharmastala in Beltangady, Rs two lac to Kateel Durgaparameshwari temple in Kateel, Rs two lac to Gurudeva charitable committee in Bantwal, Rs two lac to Parashakthi Trust in Mangaluru, Rs one lac to Sian Ashram in Beltangady and Rs two lac to Sri Rama Goshale in Bantwal.
The commissioner of Hindu religious organizations and charitable endowment department has asked to use the amount as per the rules and submit the expenditure statement.
