Udupi: Young employee of private hospital passes away from cardiac arrest

Udupi, May 1: An employee of a private hospital in Udupi, Rajesh Salian (40) passed away due to cardiac arrest in his home here in Katapady.

Rajesh was working as a lab technician at a private hospital and was reportedly began experiencing chest pain on April 29. He then was taken to a doctor in the locality and was advised to visit the clinic the next morning on an empty stomach.

According to the complaint filed by Surendra Salian, brother of Rajesh in Kaup police station said that Rajesh seemed to have chest pain again at around 7:30 pm and ended up collapsing on the spot in his home. His brothers took him to KMC hospital in Manipal, where the doctors declared him dead.

It is said that Rajesh's wife was pregnant and was living at her mother's home. A complaint has been filed in Kaup police station.

    In this corona time they are only concetrating on covid 19.other sicknesses are also important to consider.people may die of them if not treated.
    There is no clear policy among doctors.some say" we are not allowed to check the patient.but some are checking .

    What type of Doctors we have. When a patient complain of chest pain immediately he should have advised him to go to emergency Just negligence from dr and himself , precious life lost.
