KSA, Dec 10: Tanzeem hum Hindustani, a voluntary, non-commercial and non-religious organization of overseas Indians engaged in the efforts to help in solving common problems of non-resident Indians conducted a series of ghazal and comedy concerts, "Ek Shaam Mastani” in Dammam, Al Hassa, Jeddah and Riyadh, recently.
Internationally famous ghazal maestro, Khan Ather and laughter champion, Habeeb Quadeer performed the live Concert. The last event in the series was held at Al Yamamah University Auditorium here.
Rajeev Shahare, deputy chief of mission, Embassy of India, Riyadh was the chief guest. H inaugurated the event. Mohammed Quaiser, president, Tanzeem Hum Hindustani welcomed the audience and in his speech he demanded the Embassy of India to build auditoriums in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam with the seating capacity of 2,000 people. Quaiser demanded the Embassy of India to ensure that at least one Indian resident of Saudi Arabia should be nominated for the Pravasi Bharatiya Award every year as the largest Indian Community resides in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Quaiser also offered the services of Tanzeem Hum Hindustani to hold the annual mushairah in Dammam.
Rajeev Shahare assured the community that the doors of Embassy of India are always open to help to all Indians. He urged the Tanzeem Hum Hindustani and others to come forward with their co-operation and identify the proper place to build the auditorium. Responding to the request for nominating Indians from KSA for Pravasi Bharatiya Award, he assured that Embassy of India will take up the issue with authorities concerned. Shahare also said that the proposal to hold annual mushairah, which is currently held in Jeddah and Riyadh, in Dammam is under discussion.

Abdul Aziz Al Hassan, executive director, Al Yamamah University said that the Indian community is part of lot of development activities in Saudi Arabia. Al Hassan said Saudis respect and love the Indians and highlighted their services towards KSA.
The Ghazal Mastro, Khan Ather presented a unique and many popular ghazals with his melodious voice. Quadeer presented many comedy items that kept audiences thoroughly entertained.
