Task force to recommend continuance of lockdown in Karnataka

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Apr 8: Coronavirus continues to invade new territories, unwilling to be bogged down by the lockdown exercise. Even though elaborate measures have been taken, hundreds of new cases emerge in the country every day. Many blame the citizens for not strictly complying with the lockdown rules, and those under home quarantine, of mixing with the people.

It is learnt that the doctors forming the state task force for coronavirus control have stressed the necessity to continue lockdown rules at least till the end of April, as the control so far exercised over the pandemic is not satisfactory. The task force is preparing to recommend to the state level committee of the government to continue lockdown in districts where more number of coronavirus positive cases have emerged.

The report to be submitted by the task force will also contain reasons behind its decision to continue the lock down and the likely adverse impact on the health of the people if the government decides against continuing with the lockdown. On the basis of these points, the state government is expected to take a stand before April 13.

The task force has Dr Manjunath of Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences, Dr Devi Shetty of Narayana Health, and vice chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Dr Schidananda and other senior doctors.

So many students from kerala are studying in Mysore University. Even my daughter is also studying in Mysore. If colleges open then my daughter and similar students from kerala are the most sufferers. As the political vengeance is rising more than the intensity of Corona virus, what is the peaceful solution to curb.

If studies resume in Mysore University, kindly do the needful in permitting my daughter and other students to cross the borders of Karnataka subject to stringent medical check up at the borders of both states without prejudice. As a parent any support needed in this situation can be rendered to Karnataka wholeheartedly. Because education in Mysore is the best in India.
    Soliciting favorable response please.

Not only in Karnataka but in the entire country the present lockdown must necessarily be extended so as to move out of the danger zone from which we are yet to come out.
