Sharjah: Fixtures for Lourdes Kanajar Trophy 2009 Announced

Sharjah, Nov 30: LKAE sports committee together with team captains and referees have drawn fixtures for the tournament to be played at Wonderers Club Grounds here on Wednesday December 2. The fixtures were drawn at Winnys Restaurent Party hall, Karama on Sunday November 29.
 
LKAE is organizing the event for the sixth time in succession, and like every year this year too the response has been overwhelming. There will be 12 teams in Volleyball category and six in throw ball, who will play the league matches in the morning session to make it to the quarter finals and Semis before noon.


 

 

The grand finale for the 'title trophy' will take place in the afternoon session. 
 
There will be face painting for children, henna designing for adults and loads of prizes for the spectators.

    LKAE is been organising the event with the great success every year. its an oppurtunity to gather all kannadigas and enjoy the event. All the best to ACE spikers and all other participants. DAIJI had played a really big role for the success of the event

    LKAE has been on fast track as all of us can see the enthusiam shown by many participants. We treat this event as more of coming to gether and showing a feeling of oneness to our fellowmen. We strongly feel that LKAE should organize a GULF level tournament.
