Dubai, Mar 23: All shopping centres, malls and open markets in UAE will be closed after 48 hours from Monday, March 23 for two weeks to prevent the spreading of coronavirus. Only the meat, fish and vegetable markets are allowed to function.
This decision was taken by the ministry of health and prevention and the national emergency crisis and disaster management authority of the country. The restaurants are also asked to give only takeaways and not to allow customers to have food inside the facility.
The decision, though taken on Monday, March 23 by the authority, will come into action only after 48 hours.
In addition to closure of public crowding places, the ministry of interior and national emergency crisis and disaster management authority has also urged the visitors and residents of the country to follow the rules and regulations and stay inside the house and venture out only for necessities and make the use of mask as per the guidance given by the health department.
All the inbound and outbound flights in UAE are also suspended for two weeks. This decision will also come into effect after 48 hours and evaluated after two weeks.
