Mysuru, Mar 16: Police personnel of Talakadu station in T Narasipura taluk in the district have succeeded in arresting a man and his three friends. The man has been accused of murdering his lover with the help of his friends, as the lady reportedly pestered him to remain in her company forever.
Rajamma, wife of Venkataranga Nayaka from Managanahalli in Hanur taluk was murdered. Mahesh (38), resident of Alagud in T Narasilpura taluk, Soma (34) and Mahadeva Nayaka (50) from Akkurdoddi, and Chowdayya (58) from Hemmige have been arrested.
The four had killed Rajamma (62) and buried her body. Rajamma had an illicit relationship with Mahesh and of late she was repeatedly pestering him to be with her always. Frustrated by her adamant demand, Mahesh killed her with help from friends, said district superintendent of police, C B Rishvanth, on Sunday, March 15.
