Jebel Ali: 'Dabazo' - Opera, Fashion Show and Comedy Extravaganza

Jebel Ali, Nov 15: The countdown for the annual fund raising programme, "Konkan Dabazo”, which is in its third consecutive year by Jebel Ali Assisi Konkani Community (JAKC) to be held at the Assisi Church Hall here on Thursday November 19 from 8.00 pm, has already begun. The event with three hours of fun and frolic will run in three parts.

Musical evening by Vincent Fernandes, Cascia of Mogachi Lahran fame will be staged. Vincent will experiment an OPERA for the first time in the history of Konkani. Fashion show for lovely ladies comprising two rounds and rib-tickling skits by "Sangon Mugdana Artists" sure to keep the audience spellbound during the show.
John M Monteiro, president, JAKC informed Daijiworld that the programme will kick off sharp at 8:15 pm keeping the JAKC tradition in mind. There will be lots of surprise in store for all.
Though the programme will be free for all, sumptuous Mangalorean dinner will be served at a nominal cost of AED25 per person. However, the seats in the auditorium will be reserved for dinner coupon holders. The interested can buy their dinner coupons from Canara Restaurant and Winnys Restaurant.
