Puttur, Feb 22: "When stringent action is taken against anti-national activities, such acts lessen. Naxal and Communism are misleading people. Congress is inspiring such acts," accused state BJP president and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel.
Nalin was speaking to reporters in the town on Amulya Leona controversy. He further said, "Being born and reared in India, eating the food and breathing the air of this country, it is sacrilege to praise any other country, especially Pakistan. As per Constitution, we are supposed to say 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'. It is okay to use offensive language against political parties. However, it is not right to adore some other country being in India. So I urge that strict action should be taken against such offenders.
"If Congress, communists and naxals do not inspire these people, how they climb the podium and say slogans against the country? If they speak in functions organized by Congress, action should also to be taken on the organisers,” he said.
