Sharjah: Musical Extravaganza to Mark Karnataka Sangha Anniversary

Sharjah, Oct 25: Karnataka Sangha Sharjah, one of the prestigious Registered Association for Kannadigas in UAE will be celebrating 7th Annual day function on 13th November, 2009 at Asian Palace Banquet Hall, Ajman.  The programme will start at around 10.30 AM and the whole day fun filled event will also include Mayura Award ceremony and Children’ s Day celebrations too.
 
As in the past the KSS will identify and select a true Kannadiga personality for their outstanding contribution to the society in the field of Business, Literature, Arts & Music, irrespective of his/her cast, creed or religion for the ‘Mayura Award’.  KSS will honour and present the Award to the identified Kannadiga during the celebration which will  be witnessed by well known artistes flown from India to grace the function and who will also perform during the day.

The guest perfomers from India will be arriving and those include the famous personalities like Ravindra Prabhu and Anita Samson who will lend their golden voices.  Along with them are Roshan Belman, Navin Koppa and the famous Arun Carlo who will provide tilting music through out.  The show will be taken to laughter by the one and only Dolla Nandigudde.  As per the organizers the programme will be a package of Music, Singing, Jokes, variety of dances etc.
 
Karnataka Sangha Sharjah announced hat in the past it has supported many social causes which includes Free Health check-up back home for the masses, Free Medical Check up for its Members and Families in the UAE, Provided financial aids to few deceased Member’s families, and so on which they are willing to continue.
