Dubai: Moodubidri MLA Abhayachandra Jain Visits UAE

Dubai, Oct 22: Abhaychandra Jain, an eminent MLA of Congress from Moodabidri constituency in Karnataka, India made a trip to UAE enroute his return trip from Bahrain, where he attended annual function of Karnataka Sangha Bahrain as a chief guest, recently. This is his maiden visit to UAE. 

He was here to meet some of his Kannadiga friends and also to know about their current situation in the time of recession. He had an opportunity to meet some of his batch mates too. 





On invitation by Uday Kumar Kateel of Maxell International, he visited the organization where he was honoured and felicitated.  Maxell International also handed over a cheque of Rs 50,000 for the Chief Minister’s Flood Relief Fund.  

Abhaychandra was impressed with the developments in the country and applauded the system, punctuality and professionalism of the people here. He said the people of Tulunadu working here really contribute a lot to the development of their home town back in India and this needs to be recognized.  Not to forget this also refers to those tuluvas living in Mumbai and working in Dubai, he added. 

Recently the government of Karnataka created the post of the chief whip of the opposition in the legislature and Abhaychandra Jain, representing Moodbidri-Mulki constituency of D K district has been appointed as the chief whip unanimously by the Congress Party.  The post carries the status of a cabinet minister. Abhaychandra Jain is backed by the experience of having functioned as the chief whip earlier during Dharam Singh’s term. People hailing from Moodbidri and nearby places expressed their happiness about the elevation of their candidate.
