Mangaluru, Feb 8: Every year on the occasion of Car festival, Sangeet Bharati Foundation (R), here, organizes Santavaani concert 'Bhakti Rath'. This year the concert will be held on Sunday March 1 from 5.30 pm onwards at 'Rajangana', Shri Venkatramana Temple, Car Street, in the city.

One of the finest vocalists in the country, Vidushi Poornima Kulkarni, Bengaluru and Pt Chandrashekar Vaze, Mumbai will perform at the concert.

They will be accompanied by Narendra L Nayak on the harmonium, Rajesh Bhagvath on the tabla, Sridutt Prabhu on Pakhaawaz and Dhanashree Prabhu on Manjira.

Ideal Ice Cream is the main sponsor of the event. Previously, this event used to be held on the first Sunday after the car festival. This year, due to various reasons, the event is organized on March 1.

Narendra L Nayak, vice-president of Sangeet Bharati Foundation (R) invites all music lovers and devotees to attend the concert which is open to all music lovers.
