Mangaluru, Jan 20: A person wearing a white cap, a full-sleeved white striped-shirt and black pant is suspected to be the one, who placed the bag with bomb at Mangaluru International Airport.
It is suspected that the man arrived to the airport in an auto-rickshaw and left after leaving the bag that contained the bomb.
The unclaimed bag was noticed by security personnel, and the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) immediately cordoned off the area. The bomb disposal squad and a dog squad were rushed to the spot.
The bag has been moved to an isolation bay by the bomb disposal squad. Security has been tightened at Bengaluru and Hubli airports too.
