Bengaluru, Oct 18: The nation-wide strike by the employees of public sector HAL at all its installations in the country completed the fifth day with no solution in sight.

The management of HAL, has in a statement, clarified that the contention of the Employees’ Union as published in a section of media that certain employees will get less wages after the wage revision is grossly misleading.

HAL maintains that its offer given to the Union, increases the pay of employees in the range of 9 percent to 14 percent. It is also guaranteed that no employee would lose on the allowances.

Employees, therefore, need to have the proper understanding rather than believing blindly in distorted facts. Moreover, considering that the strike itself is illegal as per the labour authority, we hope all employees return to work in the interest of all the stakeholders, said Gopal Sutar, Spokesperson of the HAL.
