Kundapur, Oct 16: "Sportsman spirit should grow among students. It is possible to achieve success in sports through dedication and concentration. Good education is also important in today's time. Good education and sports are helpful in tasting success in life," said Mohammed Ashraf Beary, of Bearys Vishwastha Mandali Kodi.

Mohammaed was speaking at the district level sports meet for PU students that was organized jointly by PU Board Udupi district and Hajee K Mohiuddin Byari composite pre-university college Kundapur. He also said, "Sports is of utmost importance in the development of personality of a student. One should not bother about victory or loss but should show his talents in the sport. Participation is important."

K M Abdul Rehman Beary, president of Beary’s group of educational institutions, Kodi, Kundapur presided over the function. The flag hoisting was done by convener of Beary’s educational institution Mohammed Beary.

Members of Kundapur Town Municipality Kamala, Laxmi, Ashfaque, deputy director of PU education department Maruti, Director of Beary's educational institutions Kodi Kundapur Doma Chandrashekhara, Dr Shameer, principal of Hajee K Mohiuddin composite pu college Kodi Kundapur, Dinesh Kumar A, district sports coordinator of PU education department, Madhav Bhat, president of district principals' association, Ilyas, physical education director of Beary's organization and Veena Agera, head mistress of the organization were present.

The programme was compered by Monica and Sachin. An attractive march past was held as part of the sports meet.
