Udupi, Oct 13: Kartikeya Madhyastha has been unanimously elected as the new Zonal Chairperson of the 15th JC Zone of the year 2020.

He has served as a member of JCI Kundapur City in 2006, as a director in 2008, vice-president in 2009, and president of JCI Kundapur City in 2010.

During his term as director of zonal development and growth in 2018, the zone received a national award. His achievements and hard work as a zonal vice-president in 2019, made him elect it as the zone XV.

He has participated in the 12th zonal conference, third national conference and international conference in Delhi.

Madhyastha has served as the vice-president of the Rotaract Club of Koteshwar, president of the Old Student Association of Bhandarkars College, former president of Vidya Vipra Forum of Kundapur taluk, and former president of the All College Student Action Committee of Mangalore University. As the director of Kundapur-Udupi Fashion Court, he is active in several organizations.
