Mangaluru, Sep 19: In an incident which happened at Maravoor in the city, a youth who fell from his motorbike, died on the spot. The incident happened at midnight on Wednesday, September 18.

The deceased was Akshit Poojary (24), second son of Janardhana and Lalita couple from Kinnipadavu.

After work, Akshit was moving in his two-wheeler towards his home at midnight when his motorbike wheels skidded. His head banged against the rod forming part of the railway bridge at Maravoor, causing his instant death.

A case about this accident was registered in Bajpe police station.
