CM, Dy CM pay floral tribute to Dr Manmohan Singh at AICC office

New Delhi, Dec 28: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar, who is also the KPCC President, paid floral tribute to the body of former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh at the All India Congress Committee (AICC) headquarters in Delhi on Saturday.

The leaders expressed their deep condolences and reverence for Dr Singh, who passed away at the age of 91, leaving behind a legacy of leadership and contributions to the nation. Both CM Siddaramaiah and DCM Shivakumar acknowledged Dr Singh’s pivotal role in shaping India’s economic landscape and praised his commitment to public service.

Siddaramaiah remembered Dr Singh as a visionary who navigated the country through various challenges, including economic reforms and global recognition. He added that Dr Singh’s tenure as Prime Minister had marked a period of significant transformation for India.

D K Shivakumar, who had worked closely with Dr Singh during his political career, conveyed his heartfelt tribute and shared how the former PM’s statesmanship had always been an inspiration to him and many others.

As the body of Dr Manmohan Singh lay in state, party leaders and dignitaries from across the country paid their respects, honoring a leader whose humility, integrity, and dedication to the nation earned him respect across political lines.
