why should citizens undertake this time-consuming and unproductive exercise of verifying their details every few years on the voter list? Should the concerned agencies not investigate how this data gets corrupted in the Govt's hands and prevent that from happening? Unless one moves out of the area or goes dead, there should be no need for this frequent re-verification.

Instead of concentrating on such issues which are not useful at present. First and foremost DC should concentrate on the health issues of the public... They should take precautionary measures to control the fevers like dengue... Malaria.. etc. Do regular spraying and fogging areawise continuously... with the time to time awareness among the public... When citizens are healthy whole city is healthy... Awake! Arise!! Employees of health department... Don't give rash response during your visit to areas... I was surprised when one of the lady staffs said on enquiry as to why they don't do regular fogging? Answer is machines are heavy.. So they do fogging just in the compound of dengue affected patient...!!! Grown up grass on the road side.. another issue... what urgency in verifying the voter cards?
