Bengaluru: CCB raids bogus firm that pretended to be government department

Bengaluru, Sep 9: Sandeep Patil, joint commissioner of police (crime), Bengaluru, has highlighted a unique scam, and warned people not to fall prey for it. 

A few days back, Bengalureans were overjoyed that the government had announced a property mela, where people could obtain sites and independent houses. However, the advertisement was not given by the government department but a bogus firm, with the intention to cheat people. 


Sandeep Patil

The City Crime Branch, under the leadership of Sandeep Patil, conducted a raid, which revealed that the firm was a bogus one and had no association with the government department. 

Patil has warned people to be careful while purchasing properties and not fall prey to misleading advertisements and fake firms that aim to cheat people.

    Indeed Mr. Sandeep Patil is serious about these bogus firms and when action is needed he will go to any extent to ensure that justice is done in the interest of people.

    Mr. Patill during his short tenure in Mangalore built a great reputation as a strict and honest officer
