Mumbai, Sep 9: Faye D'Souza, the Executive Editor of ‘Mirror Now’ news channel, has reportedly resigned from the media company. As per sources, Vinay Tewari will be the new Managing Editor at the news channel.
As per reports, Faye D'Souza will still have a role to play at Times Network’s second English news channel.
Faye D'Souza joined the Times Group in October 2008 and before that she worked with CNBC-TV18 for four years.
Hector Kenneth, previous Vice President and input head of Times Now, will be appointed as the input head of both, Mirror Now and Times Now.
Mirror Now was previously known as ‘Magicbricks’, when Faye D'Souza joined the channel, it was rebranded as Mirror Now in April 2017. Back then, Faye said “It was a tiny channel which almost started off as a love project. Both Anand (MK Anand, MD and CEO, Times Network) and I believed that if we do news that is about people, it will resonate."
Faye D'Souza was famous for her bold, outspoken attitude and rose to popularity after one of her panel discussions went viral.
