Mangaluru, Aug 17: Star Education Institute here, celebrated 73rd Independence Day on August 15.
Askhan sheikh Proprietor of ‘Be free’ Co Ltd hoisted the flag.
Abdul Samad, vice president of PTA and Khader Sharief well-wisher of Star Education Institute were present.
Muhammed Saleem Malar, director of ‘Star Education Institute’, addressed the gathering by thanking Almighty for the opportunity to celebrate the national festival which other schools and colleges are unable to celebrate due to heavy rainfall and flood.
Prabha Naveen, principal recalled the history of the national freedom fighters who struggled hard for freedom.
The celebration concluded with various cultural programmes and messages to the gathered.
Dipti D’Silva, girls manager, welcomed the guest, and Deepa Poojary presented vote of thanks.
