Panaji, Aug 7: The state of Goa and the Kamchatka Kray region of Russia, are set to ink a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the fields of trade, economic investment, scientific and technical cooperation and tourism.
As per the draft copy of the MOU, approved by the state cabinet, it says: The parties intend to deepen mutual beneficial cooperation.
As reported in TOI, the MoU will allow for an exchange of information on the investment climate and business conditions, as well as assist in the implementation of joint projects in priority areas.
The MOU will also facilitate the exchange of official and business delegations in the field of trade, economy and commercial enterprises. The agreement is likely to be signed in Vladivostok during the fifth Eastern Economic Forum, to be conducted from September 4 to 6.
