Karkala: First Integrated PhD from VTU at NMAMIT

Karkala, Jul 2: Santhosh Poojary, assistant professor in the department of Biotechnology of NMAMIT was awarded an Integrated Master of Science in Engineering (MSc Enginering) plus PhD from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Belagavi.

He was awarded the same for his thesis entitled ‘Compression ignition engine performance studies with different blends of Biodiesels produced from novel sources’.

He was successful in completing his degree under the guidance of Dr C Vaman Rao, professor and head Biotechnology Engineering department.

This is the first Integrated PhD at NMAMIT.
