Mangaluru: Student’s parliament inaugurated at Shakthi School

Mangaluru, Jun 22: 'Leader is born from four corners of the school. The efforts of teachers are equally prominent in it. The student who takes leadership of the school and shoulders the responsibility clears his way for his future,” said Besant Pre-university College History lecturer Roopaksha who addressed the gathering after inaugurating the school parliament on Saturday June 22 for the year 2019-20 at Shakthi Residential School.

“School leader is a model for other students and he should work toward making other students excel like him. The students that are selected to shoulder different responsibilities in the school may also become leaders in society in the future,” he said.

“School principal Vidya Kamath G addressing students elected to be leaders in the school, said that the election is conducive for all round development of students. Students should make the most of their opportunities and succeed in life,” she said. She explained the responsibilities of elected leaders in the academic year.



Badges were distributed to students in the parliament. Students took oath and made the programme meaningful.

Gopalakrishna temple managing trustee K C Naik, Saguna C Naik, institute development officer Nasim Banu, Shakthi P U College principal Prabhaker G S, Gopalakrishna pre primary school administrator Neema Saxena were present. Teacher Sangeetha Marina Peris compered the programme. Ligin Joy welcomed everyone. Bhavyashree rendered the vote of thanks.
