Bengaluru, May 25: Rumours are making rounds that Ramesh Jarkiholi has started to woo the dissident MLAs of the Congress party as soon as the results of the Lok Sabha elections are declared and for the umpteenth time 'Operation Lotus' is in motion to destablize the coalition government of Congress and JD (S).
Ramesh will be having discussion on Friday May 24 with the dissident MLAs of the Congress party in the city. According to sources, he already has nine MLAs in his contact. Earlier also Ramesh had tried to conduct 'Operation Lotus' but it had failed miserably.
Yeddyurappa had told Ramesh to make the dissidents resign from Congress and approached him later. It is said that Ramesh is trying to go as per the instructions of Yeddyurappa and has called a meeting in that regard.
It is said that current and former Congress MLAs called Ramesh and are asking him to conduct a meeting. According to sources, there are four dissident MLAs, including Ramesh, in Belagavi district itself. It is learnt that the meeting will take place on Friday at 5 pm.
