Mangaluru: St Agnes PU College organises II PU orientation, felicitation of academic achievers

Mangaluru, May 22: The II PU orientation programme of St Agnes PU College was held on Monday May 20 at the college auditorium.

Bharati Shevgoor, master facilitator in HRD, graced the occasion as chief guest. She spoke on cheerfulness being a hidden quality within each individual and stressed on the importance of teamwork. She asked the students to help each other in their path of competition.

Sr Norine was introduced and welcomed to the gathering as the new principal of St Agnes PU College by Joel, dept of Physics. The biennial college magazine 'Agno Ninad' was also unveiled by the chief guest.



The toppers, centum scorers and distinction holders of II PU Board Examination held in March were felicitated by the chief guest. Ashlyn Pinto, Reeshma and Bindu, the toppers of Science, Commerce and Arts stream respectively spoke on the ways and methods adopted by them to excel in the examination.

Fathima Suzna who met with a tragic accident on October 29, 2018 was also felicitated for her tremendous courage and hard work in achieving success in the Board Examination.

Sr Janet, the vice principal and co-ordinator of the programme Hariet, dept of Commerce were also present on the dais.

The gathering was welcomed by the principal Sr Norine while Riya Dcunha gave the vote of thanks.

The programme was compered by Aysha Rida.
