Bengaluru, May 17: A rowdy sheeter of the city cut the ears of an air hostess, who denied his proposal for love and surrendered to the police.

The accused, Ajay alias Jacky Kodigehalli, is the person who has surrendered himself to the police. He had cut the ears of an air hostess, who denied his one-way love, two days ago.

A special police team was formed to nab the culprit. However, the accused surrendered himself to the police out of fear on the night of Thursday.

As per the details available, the young girl in question works as an air hostess in Indigo Airlines. Jacky has proposed his love to her in the month of February. However, the maiden had denied his proposal. In addition, she had warned rowdy Ajay through her family members. However, Jacky, who did not pay any heed to the denial of the air hostess had gone to her house and broke the window panes of the car and the side mirrors of the bike. The family members of the air hostess, who were frustrated by the repeated nuisance and threat of rowdy Ajay had filed a complaint with the Jalahalli police, who had promptly added him to the list of rowdies.

Jacky, who got infuriated of getting added to the list of rowdies by the police, assaulted the girl near Hebbal when she was returning home after finishing off her shift. Before attacking the girl, Jacky had told her that a rowdy sheeter file is opened on him and asked her to withdraw the complaint and also accept his proposal for love. However, she did not heed his demands. Jacky, who got angry due to this denial of the air hostess, slit the ears of the girl with knife.

A case was registered in this connection in the Kodigehalli police station. Now the rowdy sheeter has surrendered himself to the police.
