Bengaluru, May 7: A bus driver, who has concerns about the environment and wants to create the same concern in the passengers who take a ride in his bus, has raised plants in pots lined up in his bus. This effort has drawn the attention and admiration of everyone.

Narayanappa, the driver in question, works for Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC). He has created a mini garden inside his bus and won the laurels of environmentalists.

Narayanappa has been growing plants inside the bus that moves around the city, since the last four years. Many who board his bus which moves between Kaval Byrasandra and Yashwantpur, get surprised to look at the lush green miniature garden inside the bus.

The driver says that he has been doing this since the last some years to create awareness among the people about their environment.

Many passengers have shared the pictures of his mini garden on Twitter. Several of these photos have become viral and the initiative undertaken by this driver has come in for lavish praise.
