@Prashanth K .Hejmady.even the belts and airbag may not help when they are on wrong side and doesnt pass the speed limit.People in India mostly dont like to wear belt ,only when a police officer comes or near, controls then wear and later remove it.Some simply dont understand importance of it unfortunately.just like helmet.Better follow rules speed limit, seat belts ,dont overtake where narrow curves are important.you will reach your destination sure when only follow rules dont hang on mobile while driving, or you have to remain home.Heartfelt sympathy to the family of deceased.Buses run like a race horses.May their souls rest in peace.Who actuelly is on wrong side.?who will compansate the family of deceased?Cancel the licence of the driver who was on wrong side.so simple is that.

also in order to trigger SRS Airbags the incoming object has to hit the airbag sensor correctly in a precise manner which is located on left and right side of front grill behind the bonnet . budget cars suffer most as sensors are few & are not installed at crucial points which may or may not work.

Most of the accidents happen as people are rushing to reach the destination. They do not give a damn to speed and road conditions plus the oncoming vehicles. In addition, the menace of speaking on mobile also contributes in some cases.
Please start early to reach before time for any function or event.
RIP to the deceased and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.

I fully agree with your comments. But one should know at what speed the car and the bus was going to hit head-on with each other.
