SpiceJet to operate daily night flights between Mumbai and Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Apr 26: Budget carrier SpiceJet has announced the launch of daily direct return flight from Mumbai to Mangaluru at low fares. The new flight will take off from April 26, according to the airline.

As per the airline, flight SG 6249 leaves Mumbai at 18.45 and reaches Mangaluru at 20.40 and flight SG 6250 departs from Mangaluru at 21.25 and reaches Mumbai at 23.30.

Spice Jet is offering tickets from Mangaluru to Mumbai at Rs. 2989 and from Mumbai to Mangaluru at Rs. 2889.

The announcement by SpiceJet comes at a time when full-service carrier Jet Airways has suspended its operations temporarily.

SpiceJet has other flights during day and evening between Mangaluru and Mumbai.

    it will be great help spice jet would revise the timing from Dubai to Mangalore , it is going to be better connectivity Dallas bound Emirates airlines passengers .looking forward better connectivity.

    I am still surprised to see that still we don't have flights to Pune from Mangalore

    Mangalore - Pune - Mumbai (1 stop)
    Mangalore - Pune - Delhi (1 stop)

    More and more requestz pour-in...by the way our national carrier flying on losses from the time of congress rule. Pieces of chicken vanish from menu each and every year. When ask to vote for strong government people will rise many questions beyond our imagination.
    Only Modiji able to fix flight from every destinations.

    As already commented by others, the 5:00AM flight from Mumbai to Mangalore and 8:00PM flight from Mangalore to Mumbai will also help people of Indian Origin living in North America.

    nice to know about flights from Mumbai to and from.Our problems are mostly flights from Europe land at midnight in Mumbai and start too about 1.30am.Thatswhy a flight to mangalore from Mumbai earliest was morning 6am.and evening had to im mumbai more than 8hours.so I would appriciate a early flight to mangalore about 5am?and back to mumbai in the evening about 8PM.That will give us enough time to transfer and check in in Mumbaiand have a meal inbetween too.is it possible .Let us wait and watch.There are enough passengers to Mumbai and back to mangalore if it functions.Many are waiting for this chance.Even to gulf as a stopover can be appriciated.

    Please also start early morning flights like around 5.00AM or 6:00AM from Mumbai to Mangalore.

    As per now first connecting flight to mangalore from Mumbai is around 10:00AM

    Actually fare quoted is perfectly misleading. There could be 1 ticket sold everyday or 1 ticket every week at those prices, normally if we try to book, figures quoted will be 3500 - 5000 range or maybe more towards weekends and week beginning.

    Good decision. Working class can travel after work and those wants return by night can come back and touch down Mumbai before 12:00 mid night and anyways City of Mumbai city doesn't sleep! Fare also is reasonable for the time saved.

    Somewhere i heard some airlines charge upto 28000 during season.
    Now a days even fare goes in between 8000 to 15000.
