Mangaluru: 279th Wilfy Nite – Sukh Dukh Express to enthrall with complete new concept

Mangaluru, Apr 25: On the occasion of Wilfy’s 77th birth anniversary, this year Konkani music lovers will be treated with a full complete entertainment package Sukh Dukh Express at Town Hall, Mangaluru on Sunday, April 28.

Rebimbus family and United Youngsters have planned a unique concept show which will take the audience to a scene at Mangalore Central Railways platform.

As the entry is free, they request all Wilfy’s fans to kindly occupy their seats before 5.30 pm since the journey of the passengers at this station will commence at sharp 5.30 pm.

On this musical platform, you will come across different passengers who will share their happiness, joys and sorrows. Children who are appearing for their exams, an intelligent beggar, a soldier returning home from the border after a war, young lovers on their life’s exam, an astrologer who tells you your fortune, a mother who is continuing her journey alone with her children after her husband’s demise, drunkards and many useful messages from talented senior and junior artistes. This evening will highlight the journey we all commence from our birth to our death with success, failures, happiness and joyful moments. A very young, talented and dynamic T C, Dony Correa, will take us through life’s journey.

All in all there are 22 songs with above 50 artistes and a journey of happiness and sorrow.

Come be a part of this journey on April 28, Town Hall, Mangaluru.

    Dear Meena, Veena, Viswas/Charlene and all the Members of Rebimbus family for reviving time and again the "Wilfy Nite" performances in Mangalore and elsewhere.

    This is the best way to pay tributes to late Wilfy Rebimbus for all his creative talents of the past. This is the best way to enliven the Konkany community with periodic revivals of Wilfy's creative songs and music and make the Konkany community lively and entertaining.

    We were anxiously planning to be in India during this time but we regret that plans got changed. We hope we will be able to make up some other time. Best of luck.
