The meteorological department has said that several areas in the state are likely to get rain for three days beginning April 30. It said that it was earlier felt that fall in atmospheric pressure witnessed during the last two days may result in increased rain in southern interior Karnataka, but this prediction has been changed as it has changed direction. Now it will not have too much impact on the state. Still, the southern interior Karnataka and some regions in the coast might receive rain for three days from April 30, said director of Natural Disaster Response Force, Srinivas Reddy. He said that the atmospheric depression and surface wind intensity have come down. He added that some places in south interior parts of Karnataka will experience cloudy weather for two more days.
