Kundapur: Vice-principal of Muloor Sunni Center dies in accident, 5 injured

Kundapur, Apr 22: In a tragic road accident that occurred on the afternoon of Sunday, April 21 between a Bolero Jeep and two-wheeler on national highway 66 at Trasi near here, Suhail Saadi (28), a resident of Aripambra Mukkil of Payyanur in Kannaur of Kerala state, vice-principal of Muloor Sunni Center, Dawa division lost his life. In addition, five people also sustained injuries in the mishap.

Sawbir Saadi (28), prinicpal of the Dawa division, who is seriously injured, two-wheeler rider Bharath and Ibrahim Batishah, English lecturer who was in the jeep and sustained minor injuries are admitted to a hospital in Manipal. Student Tufail and pillion rider of two-wheeler Joseph, a resident of Jadkal are admitted to a private hospital in the town. Another student Hajmal and the driver of the jeep Mohammed Rafiq, a resident of Kaup Majoor escaped unhurt.



It is said that the Bolero jeep that was plying from Byndoor to Kundapur hit the two-wheeler from behind. The jeep which lost control overturned in the midst of the road. Suhail Saadi, who was sitting in the middle seat got grievously injured and died on the way while being shifted to the government hospital of the town.

A case in this regard stands registered in Gangolli police station.
