New Delhi, Jan 20: Two more were arrested in connection with the plot to murder RSS leader of Dakshina Kannada, Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat. With this the total number of arrested persons goes to three.
There is one Afghan national among the arrested and it is unearthed that they have connection with the underworld.
It may be recalled that the police had arrested Muhataseem alias Tasleem, a resident of Kasargod district in Kerala recently. Now the police have confirmed that they have arrested Wali Mohammed Saifi (45), a native of Afghanistan and Sheikh Riazuddin alias Alami (32), a resident of Madangir in Delhi.

Pramod Kushwaha, assistant commissioner of Delhi said, "We got the information about the murder plot on January 9. We got the clue to murder some Hindu leaders of South India by foreign controlled elements. Based on this information, Wali was arrested first on January 11 and later Riazuddin was nabbed. Due to the clue given by these people, Tasleem was arrested in Kasargod with the help of the Kerala police,”
