Mangaluru, Jan 1: District in-charge minister U T Khader along with City South MLA Vedvyas Kamath released invitation of silver jubilee celebration of Dr M N Rajendra Kumar as president of SCDCC bank here at Bank head office on Tuesday, January 1.
The celebration will be held on January 19 at Nehru Maidan in the city. Chief minister H D Kumaraswamy, Dhamadhikari Shree Kshetra Dharmastala Dr D Veerendra Hegde, deputy chief minister Dr G Parameshwar will inaugurate Akara Grantha, union minister D V Sadananda Gowda will inaugurate the procession, minister Bandeppa Kashampoora will inaugurate the museum and minister D K Shivakumar will release the Vishanthi Sovenier.
Udupi in-charge minister Jayamala, District in-charge minister U T Khader, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel and all local MLAs will take part in the celebration.
Addressing the gathering U T Khader said,"Dr M N Rajendr Kumar is the most deserving person to be in this president chair for the past 25 years and has taken this bank to the next level. He has shouldered the responsibility and has successfully delivered to the people in his last 25 years. I congragulate him on this occasion."
South MLA Vedvyas Kamath said,"It is a proud moment for us that Dr M N Rajendra Kumar has served 25 years as president of SCDCC. Whenever a banking business starts we look for safety, liquidity and profitability. Only then the customers can trust and avail the facilities provided by the bank. Dr M N Rajendra Kumar's contribution is enormous to the banking sector and I wish him all the best in his future endeavours."
President of Dr M N Rajendra Kumar Abhinandana samithi, Devi Prasad Shetty said,"The preparation for the celebration is in full swing and facilities are made for those who are taking part in this event. As many as 16 halls have been booked in and around the city for the purpose of accomodation. We have demanded the toll gate staff not to collect money from the vehicles which will take part in the event as toll will be paid to them in advance. Parking facilities are made for the vehicles in prime locations. 14 committees are formed for the smooth functioning of the event. Prior to the programme, a procession will be carried out which will be led by Dr Mohan Alva.
