Manchester, Dec 21: KCAUK hosted Christmas Boom on December 15 at the Lal Qila restaurant, Manchester. This event is organized annually at Manchester to collectively celebrate the Christmas Spirit. 110 guests attended the Christmas Boom on this day.
The evening commenced with the welcoming of the guest by the president of KCAUK, Santosh Pinto. The entire event was compered by Joseph Sequeira.
Homemade, delicious, mouth- watering ‘Kuswar' and cakes were served which made the guests feel at home and get onto the spirit of Christmas.
The excitement was great when the eagerly awaited Santa paid a visit alongside his wife this year. Santa gave gifts to all the children and entertained everyone.
KCAUK members performed the nativity play and carol singing. The performance of children and adults was truly amazing.
Daisy Lobo, Richelle Rodrigues, Stany Mendonca Ancita D'Souza and Gilbert D'Souza entertained the guests with their melodious voices.
The ladies of KCAUK danced to the upbeat numbers. Anthony Mary and Vinjoy Rego entertained everyone with their dance.
Stany and Reena Rodrigues from Manchester led the games which elated the mood of all, from kids to the adults making this event filled with fun.
Delicious starters and dinner was served under the efficient leadership of Martin Saldhana, Ronald Lobo and Kenny D’sa.
James Ravi Pinto commended the organisers who made this event a successful one, especially, Santhosh Pinto in particular and all the guests present. He wished all the guests present, a happy Christmas and prosperous New Year.
Lucky draws were organised, and the winners were awarded with their respective prizes. The DJ filled in more enthusiasm with his alluring music which kept the guests busy dancing on their feet and demanding for more. The event concluded with dance.
KCAUK thanked one and all, including their families for their generous sponsors and their support in making this event a successful one. The association also thanked each one of them for all the hard work invested by them behind the screen in the event.
