Saudi Arabian consulate office to open in Bengaluru shortly

Bengaluru, Dec 5: Shortly, Saudi Arabia will be opening its consulate office here. This was informed by Dr Saudi Mohammed Alsati, Saudi Arabian ambassador to India.

Dr Saudi Mohammed, who met the chief minister of Karnataka at Vidhana Soudha on Tuesday December 4, said that his country has decided to open a consulate office here.

He said that the number of people travelling between the city and Saudi Arabia has been increasing day by day and that the number of people seeking Saudi Visas has doubled. In view of these developments, it has been decided to open a consulate office here, he stated.

The Saudi ambassador stated that Saulat Unnisa, a woman from Bengaluru, had opened a school for girls a hundred years back at Mecca, adding that documents about this fact are available.   "As per our information, her descendants are living in the city. If information about them is provided to us, we will honour the family," he added.

    Saudi Arabia is home to almost half a million Indians in sll setors not a vounting other middle east countries. We Indians living here have made our lives and were able to improve our living and are thankful to KSA. Your immature comment on religious aspect indicate your personal biased option which has no value. No muslim country has ever denied any bilateral relations with India based on; gow raksha, babri masjid, muslim killing lynching love jihad and ghar wapsi pathetic stunts. So relax and soap wash your brain....

    to add to your knowledge more than muslims the majority are non muslims are engaged in business and working groups imn saudi and middle east...do watch yoyr words before you vomit.

    Well, it is true fact that precious foreign exchange is earned by India due to the hard work of mainly labor class in KSA. However, please note that this class is no more welcome there. If one wants to earn and make living "with family" in KSA, this has been made highly cost-intensive.
    KSA is known to funnel its oil profits for spreading Wahabism -> If presence of consulate will enhance this, it is definite NO NO. While I agree that many labor class will benefit from the consulate, I am not sure we should see it synonymous with consulate of western countries in Bangalore.
    Modi although in the photo-op acted as if he has known MBS forever, I am not sure, MBS is a positive influence to the world with the Oil reserves he controls.

    I real don't care what they do and open by saudi. Are they take care of human rights issues in their country?
    Indians die there and bodies takes months to send back to their families why?
    Who cares how many embassy they open who cares how many palaces they open who cares how many riyals they give but human respect is the ultimate.
    I have not seen saudi is serious of human treatment in human ways. It is sad but they see money is greater than human values. Less embassy they open it is better in india. Uae or Oman opens a embassy we should celebrate.

    If you care or don't care.. who cares... you are sitting in canada and getting big bank balance there... people who works in Saudi although they earn less each one had supported their family back in India and they are living happily. Human rights is worst in India itself and if you see the International Figures you can surprise where India trials and in which place Saudi Arabia enjoys...

    people only care when their loved ones dead body sits there 6 months and comes to India just to do the last rites after many request. Stay there and enjoy. India and Canada is a blessed nation where everyone has best freedom and human rights are respected with democratic ways. One can practice what they believe in India and Canada. Are you able to practice your belief there in Saudi openly. Religious muttawas will be after your butt and prison you for praying to your own gods. That is also human rights issues man. Please don't comment against them then you will be behind bars in that nation. I know you are there for your daily bread and nothing against you but human rights is a big issues there. Respect comes only when people respect each other including religion. India is open and diverse nations and be proud of it. I have been to all over middle east and worked in all those countries years and know all stuff. I am not commenting blindly. Saudi is a good nation without freedom for other religion, women, minorities. god bless you and keep you happy there in Saudi
