Mysuru, Nov 9: MP Pratap Simha, who has earlier led protestors and has always been vocal about his dissent for Tipu Jayanti celebrations, is silent this year raising several eyebrows.
Pratap Simha remained absent in the protests held in Mysuru and Madikeri on Friday. This has led to several speculations, with some saying that he is not siding anti-Tipu protests. Some say he has had fallout with BJP and the state BJP leaders are indifferent towards him.
Pratap Simha, in the Dasara inauguration programme, had requested the chief minister without mentioning the name of Tipu Sultan to stop celebrating the birth anniversary of the man who had harassed Mysuru royal family.
Simha, who was earlier the first to lead protestors, has made people curious with his strange silence towards Tipu Jayanti celebrations this year.
