New Delhi, Oct 17(Agencies): YouTube has now restored the service and users from across the globe can now access both website and app without any problem. After fixing the issue the company tweeted, "We're back! Thanks for all of your patience. If you continue to experience issues, please let us know."
The desktop version of YouTube is reportedly down for users across the world. Some of the users have also reported that the app of the Google-owned service is also not working fine. The users who are trying to access the platform are seeing an internal error message. The search giant has acknowledged the issue and said that it is working to fix it.
In a post on its official Twitter account informing users about the service outage, the company said, “Thanks for your reports about YouTube, YouTube TV and YouTube Music access issues. We're working on resolving this and will let you know once fixed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will keep you updated", the tweet reads.
Several users complained on social media websites that they are getting 503 Network error while trying to access the video streaming platform.
Downdetector, the website which tracks internet outages and service disruptions, has also stated that YouTube is not working for many users across the globe.
