Mangaluru, Sep 25: In a tragic incident which happened near P A College at Nadupadavu near here on the evening of Monday September 24, a teenager ended her life by hanging herself. The incident falls within the jurisdiction of Konaje police station.

The woman who killed herself was Roopa (19) from Budihal, Harapanahalli, in Davanagere district. She committed suicide at the home of her aunt at Nadupadavu.

Roopa had completed her PU course in the government college at Mudipu by staying at the residence of her aunt. On Monday morning, she had arrived from Davanagere. It is said that she chose to end her life because of failed love affair. A case about this incident was registered in Konaje police station.
