Mangalore: Petty Shops, Milk Kiosk, Partially Damaged by Crackers

Mangalore, Oct 29: Despite the district administration advising necessary precautions when handling fire crackers during Deepavali celebrations, recklessness by some individuals near Kottara Chowky damaged three petty shops and a Nandini milk kiosk on the night of Monday October 27.
 
The owners of the kiosk and the shops found their shops partially gutted when they arrived on the morning of Tuesday October 28. Kavoor police registered a case in this regard.

    Let us not be very conservative so I would assert that fire crackers are harmful to life and health, they need to be replaced by some other alternative. Bursting fire crackers produces harmful gas, it imbalances the ecological balance and damages life and property. Would somebody come out with a better option?
