First-ever Gulf Billava Convention in Bahrain on Dec 19

Bahrain, Oct 27:
The specially-designed appeals for the first-ever Gulf Billava Convention in State of Bahrain, on December 19, were released during a simple ceremony held at Karnataka Social Club Auditorium, here on Friday October 24.  The convention will be staged by Guru Seva Samiti of Bahrain,
 
The appeals were released in the presence of Guru Seva Samiti president Rajkumar, Kannada Sangha president Austin Santosh Kumar and Nagaraj Rao Mangalore. The appeals were handed over to senior NRI Shivappa Poojary.
 
Austin Santosh Kumar and Nagaraj Rao, speaking on the occasion commended Guru Seva Samiti for organizing the convention and conveyed their best wishes.

Rajkumar urged the support of all Billava brethren to make the mega convention a big success.
 
Billava organizations of rest of GCC countries along with cultural troupes from India will be participating in this fir will take part in the first-ever Billava convention, besides their cultural troupes will arrive at Bahrain including from India.
 
All India Billava Union president Navinchandra Suvarna, veteran social worker and proprietor of Sukhsagar Restaurant Suresh Poojary, Prof Tukaram Poojary Bantwal, Dr Ganesh Amin Sankamar, Prof Mohan Kotian Manipal, Sandalwood actors and popular cultural troupes, are likely to attend the mega convention.
